Underage Drinkers: Family and Friends Are Main Source of Alcohol

Are you worried of your teenaged family member’s or friend’s underage abuse of alcohol? Why don’t you just recheck if it were you who taught him?

If you didn’t teach, you might have at least been the source of his alcohol on his early days of abuse.

According to a study conducted by national Institute on Drug Abuse, a startling 65 percent of the under age adolescents who consume alcohol, get it from their family or friends.

So this is an alarm for all those parents who drink in front of their young kids and those parents who don’t check for bad friendship of their kids.

Other key points of the study say that, there are 30 percent of high school students who confess that they have been riding in a car with a drunken driver.

Intervallic drinking is in high levels among 30 percent of the high school seniors.
